KUKICHA - Green Tea

Kukicha tea is made with the leafless stalks, stems and twigs left behind after Sencha production. The stalks are steamed before processing in order to halt fermentation.   Exceptionally clean cup,  lightly vegative with a mild nutty flavour,  malty highlights some  cream on the finish. It has a very low caffeine content.

An excellent tea to be enjoyed as a pick-me-up, a juice additive or a vegan treat.
