Kukicha tea is made with the leafless stalks, stems and twigs left behind after Sencha production. The stalks are steamed before processing in order to halt fermentation. Exceptionally clean cup , lightly vegative with a mild nutty flavour, malty highlights some cream on the finish. It has a very low caffeine content.
An excellent tea to be enjoyed as a pick-me-up, a juice additive or a vegan treat.
